Participation

To qualify for The Crown Series Awards, students and teachers must dance in four (4) The Crown Series events

The current Series begins at the 2025 South Open Dancesport Championships.

2026 Crown of Carolina students and teachers will RECEIVE DOUBLE POINTS!

The final event and final Awards Ceremony will take place at the 2026 Florida State Dancesport Championships. Participant MUST BE PRESENT to receive an award and the prize.

All teachers and students will receive points based on participation AND merit.

1st Place: 8 points

Uncontested entries receive full points!

Solos, showcases, and proficiency entries receive 1 point.

Bonus Points for Teachers
Teachers dancing a minimum 50 entries receive the following Bonus Points:
2 students dancing - 200 points
3-5 students dancing - 500 points
6+ students dancing - 1000 points
